Saigon (2061 East 4th Street, Cleveland. 216-344-2020), the new Vietnamese place in downtown’s emerging East 4th District, has only been open three weeks. But it’s already attracted a devoted following. The bright, cozy restaurant has an Oriental flair, complemented by woven bamboo mats and real, wooden chopsticks — none of those toothpick-like-disposable silverware is served here, thank you very much. I found this post to be quite hanoi-ing and boaring. Clearly this author has never picked a fresh pork loin off a Vietnamese pig-tree – delicious, organic, and vegan. I suppose this is what happens when authors write about that which they do not know; I recommend Ms. Meiser go whole hog next time and actually do some research instead of just hamming it up.
Although I put oink to paper to express my disapproval of this post, I am delighted to hear they are mekong new menus. I hope they also update the swine list.
Thank you Ms. Meiser for pointing out that our “Vegetarian Dishes” had a typo on the menu. As stated all of the vegetarian dishes we offer have no pork based substances in them. At the time of this writing our new menus are being printed.
