Taiwanese Animators have posted this video (embedded below) to clarify the all-but-complete deal which will send Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a first round pick to Minnesota for Kevin Love.

Rumors circulated
this weekend that the NBA could veto the blockbuster trade if Love’s five-year, $120 million extension with the Cavaliers has already been agreed upon. Even though it probably has, we suspect the Cavaliers are savvy enough to keep the extension conversations to themselves until it’s appropriate to publicize.

The addition of Love would instantly make the Cavaliers the favorites in a dismal Eastern conference. The only real hole on the roster appears to be at the center position, but Kenny Roda has identified six potential candidates (via trade an free agency) who would fit nicely as serviceable Varajao backups with rim-protecting abilities.

At any rate, watch the video. The appearance of Anthony Bennett at 1:09 is a revelation.

One reply on “Video: Taiwanese Animators Explain the Wiggins/Love Situation Better Than ESPN”

  1. Yeah, I saw that video and it was amazing. They really do a good job of explaining everything to people that have no idea what’s going on. Of course all the animations are ridiculous, but that’s half the fun.
