Alley Cat Oyster Bar in The Flats, from chef and James Beard semi-finalist Zack Bruell, made the cut out of more than 20,000 restaurants across the U.S.
OpenTable is an online reservation system website and creates the list directly from user feedback. The resulting list comes through combing some five million restaurant reviews. While the list isn’t actually ranked, all of the winning restaurants are prominently displayed on the website.
Not too shabby for a newbie on the scene (the restaurant, not Bruell).
In case you’re wondering, no, this list isn’t the same as the site’s “100 Best Restaurants in America” list released each December. They’re similar, but this list is based on what’s the most popular and nets the most reservations.
