“We are so happy to be returning to the U.S. and honored to be co-headlining with the Psychedelic Furs, a band we have loved since day one,” says James lead singer Tim Booth in a press release announcing the jaunt. “We will improvise and change our set on a nightly basis so expect the unexpected.”
“We are excited to be back on tour this summer and are especially pleased to be joined by James, a personal favourite of mine, who have had my attention from the beginning,” says Furs singer Richard Butler. “And we may be playing some new Furs songs.”
The L.A.-based band Dear Boy will open the show.
The tour comes to the Agora on July 19.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.
