Billed as Now That’s Classy: A Formal Event at Your Favorite Dive Bar, Saturday’s “formal event” at Now That’s Class offers a chance for the venue’s grunge-y patrons to don gowns and suits.

The description on the venue’s website reads: “You are cordially invited to Now That’s Classy, the only time you’ll ever see the bar looking sophisticated. If you’ve always felt like a princess and never had the right event to wear your gown, tonight’s your night to sparkle and shine.”

Erin Brennan of Future No Future vintage clothing, Allie Mattis of West of Venus and a special guest will be on hand to judge the costume contest.

The evening begins at 9 p.m., and admission is a $5 donation.
