Touring behind her brand new album Reputation, Taylor Swift hits FirstEnergy Stadium July 17. But as with most things the singer does (you can’t stream her full record at this point), there’s a stipulation for getting tickets.

In an attempt to beat scalpers at their own game (so Swift’s camp claims), folks must sign up for Ticketmaster Verified Fan service, which essentially places them in line for up to four tickets in their chosen city.

There are ways to up your placement in the virtual line, of course, by purchasing Swift merch, her website explains. Fans can sign up for the service starting today and try to better their standings through Nov. 28.

Despite the precautions taking by the Swift team, expect these summer concert tickets, which go on sale Dec. 13, to still sell out in minutes.

  1. Gotta politicize everything, Beach Boy? Stick it in your wazoo.

All this hype at SCENE and on local TV about just another fucking concert really makes Cleveland look lame and bush. Oh, wow, the bitch is actually COMING HERE…to OUR LITTLE TOWN! The cool people like us! They REALLY, REALLY LIKE US!

Do you think New York or Detroit or Chicago media go apeshit every time a “big name” comes to their town? Is this your first rodeo? Fer chrissakes, sheeple, act like you’ve been there before.

Just another hot ticket for lemmings and chumps. The majority of people in this town really don’t give a rat’s ass. You’d think it was Jeebus Chrysler Himself coming here. Lighten up already.

  2. Here comment troll, Chuckles, is showcasing his antagonistic commenting style. Thanks for your opinion on Taylor Swift, it is very highly regarded.

  3. Use a hundred names…you will be reported a hundred times. SCENE is quickly growing tired of your shit.
