From February 28th to March 6th, Cleveland Pierogi Week is seven days of paying homage to everyone’s favorite Polish dumplings. Each participating restaurant will bake up their own spin on the pierogi – from signature pierogi to secret menu specialties and more.

We’re bringing you a minimum of 3 pierogis for $7 from some of Cleveland’s most popular pierogi joints!

All Saints Public House 1261 West 76th St., Cleveland All Saints Public House will be offering the Trzy Pierogi Serowe for Pierogi Week. It’s a sauteed potato and three cheese pierogi served on a bed of house beer braised sauerkraut and onions and finished with a drizzle of horseradish crema. You can add J&J Czuchraj sausage for an extra price including smoked all beef kielbasa ($6), cheddar bratwurst ($7), Hungarian bratwurst ($7), pork and veal bratwurst ($7) and fresh bacon bits ($2). Ballantine 4113 Erie St., Willoughby In Willoughby, Ballantine is offering two pierogies for Piergoi Week. Their first offering is a yukon gold potato with truffle rosemary, short rib, caramelized onion, demi glace and truffle sour cream. Banter 3441 Tuttle Rd., Shaker Heights Banter is offering their chicken paprikash pierogies for Pierogi Week. They’re cheese and potato pierogies topped with their house-made chicken paprikash, spaetzle, creme fraiche, paprika, and parsley.
Beerhead Bar and Eatery 1156 West 11th St., Cleveland In the Flats, Beerhead is offering a chicken bacon ranch pierogi, which is three pierogis with diced chicken, crisp bacon, cheddar cheese, green onion and ranch and their Asian pierogies, which are 3 pierogis with korean bbq sauce and asian slaw. Great Lakes Brewing Company 2516 Market Ave., Cleveland The microbrewery is offering two pierogis for the inaugural Pierogi Week. The braised short rib pierogi is served with braised short ribs and topped with creme fraiche. Jukebox 1404 W. 29th St., Cleveland Jukebox is offering a wide array of pierogies, all that come with three pierogies with grilled onion and a choice of two dipping sauces. Their offerings include a potato cheese pierogi, potato bacon, spicy chicken, mushroom kraut, sweet potato black bean and buffalo chickpea. A variety of dipping sauces including sour cream, sriracha sour cream, creamy mustard, french onion, creamy dill, buffalo, stadium mustard, applesauce and spicy ranch are available. Pierogies of Cleveland 4131 West Streetsboro Rd., Richfield In Richfield, they have 36 pierogis available. Participants get three different pierogies and an choose three different flavors. Additional pierogies are $1.75. Flavors include traditional ones like potato and cheese and potato and onion to more creative ones like prune, candy bar, cheddar and broccoli, sundried tomato and mozzarella, sloppy joe and many more. Rood Food and Pie 17001 Madison Ave., Lakewood Rood Food and Pie is offering three varieties of pierogies for the inaugural Pierogi Week. Their smoked mackerel and purple potato pierogi comes with marinated artichoke, fried capers, pickled mustard seeds and a lemon dill creme fraiche. Their braised pork cheek pierogi comes with caramelized onion sauce, bacon jam, braising jus, smoked cheddar espuma and a chive tuile and their wild mushroom pierogi is a vegan pierogi with mushroom duxelles, braised fennel, mushroom demi, crispy shiitake and horseradish creme fraiche. Rowley Inn 1104 Rowley Ave., Cleveland At the Rowley Inn, they’re offering two types of pierogies. One is tossed in your choice of wing sauce topped with sauteed onions and a side of sour cream and the other is served over sauerkraut, topped w/sauteed onions & a side of sour cream. Their options are potato and cheese, Polish sausage and sauerkraut and wild mushroom with balsamic, braised onion and bleu cheese.
