Seventeen black-and-white photographs make up Seydou Keïta: Portraits From Mali, a collection by the late Malian artist thats now on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Most of the large- and medium-scale works are from the 1950s and 60s. Its a captivating look at how the 20th century permeated an ancient land with such modern-day luxuries as watches and radios.
