Tonights your last chance to see the Theater Ninjas first-ever production, Aphrodisiac. The local theater troupe opens the curtain with a dark comedy about a dead intern and a congressman who was banging her. If it sounds familiar, its because Aphrodisiac was inspired by the 2001 disappearance of Chandra Levy, the intern who had an affair with Congressman Gary Condit. Rob Handels play explores the aftermath of a similar scandal through the eyes of the politicians two kids. The nascent ensemble -- which targets twentysomething audiences weaned on videogames -- scores a winner its first time around.
Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 7 p.m. Starts: Dec. 1. Continues through Dec. 17
