Danceworks opens its season tonight with Burn the Heavens, an Antaeus Dance performance based on the first batch of Abu-Ghraib photos. "I wanted to comment on the cruelty and the effect that has on our society," says Antaeus' artistic director Joan Meggitt. The piece incorporates two groups of dancers — one aggressive, the other peaceful. "It is an examination of two kinds of people," says Meggitt, "those who can acknowledge their feelings and others who move away from that contact."
