Two words to convince you to see Boarding Gate this weekend: Asia Argento. The sultry Italian-born sexpot stars in the Olivier Assayas drama as a London ex-call girl, who reconnects with a big-money tycoon to carry out a hit against the Chinese couple she works for, who own an exporting business. Once Argento's character pulls the trigger in her — ready for this? — underwear, she sets off on a globe-trotting adventure filled with backstabbing friends and plenty of intrigue. At the Cannes Film Festival in France last year, the flick was one of three that starred Argento. The lights go down at 9:30 tonight and 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Cleveland Cinematheque, 11141 East Boulevard. Tickets are $6 to $8. Call 216-421-7450 or visit www.cia.edu/cinematheque.
