Comedian hits the books, gives props to Cleveland.

Stand-up comic Mark Reedy was born in Chicago, but moved to Cleveland a few years ago. He married a woman here, but has since divorced. Still, he really digs our town. “It’s a very embracing city,” he says. “Once they get something that they like, they hang in there with you. If LeBron James doesn’t ever win a championship, they’ll still love him.”

Reedy eventually plans to relocate to one of the entertainment meccas. But for now, he’s taking business classes and getting to know fellow students by playing college towns. “I performed for a school that had no sports teams, yet they had a cheerleading squad,” he recalls. “That was kind of strange. It’s like having a cart, but you don’t have a horse to pull it.”
