In its inaugural season, the
Lake Erie Monsters hockey team is giving itself a crash course in public relations. At a Parma stop tonight on its “neighborhood tour,” players will sign autographs and slap around some pucks for fans. The tour will continue on January 14 with an evening stop at the Rocky River Rec Center. “We understand how important it is for us to connect with our fans, and we want to be easily accessible for them,” says spokesman Jock Callander. “The tour is just another way for us to thank out fans and have some fun doing it.” Lace up from 6:15 to 8:15 tonight at the Michael A. Ries Ice Rink, 5000 Forestwood Drive in Parma. Admission is free. Call 440-885-8870 or visit
