Cleveland is home to a booming restaurant scene, but sometimes its nice to hit the road and try something new. All of the joints on this list are a hike, but we promise it's worth it.

Eddie’s Grill - Geneva  
This old-style burger, shake and fry shop offers a step back into the past for those visiting Geneva on the Lake. This family-owned diner serves up some of the best food in the Sandusky area. From their award-winning desserts to their tasty breakfast menu, this is great place to stop on your way to Marblehead. El Señor's at La Mexicana Grocery - Painesville 
Some of the best tacos you will eat are being served up in a small cantina in a Painesville grocery store. The Mexican street tacos are traditional and delicious. The tasty treats will set you back just $1.75 each, and meeat options include beef, pork stomach, and beef tongue. The wacky décor, featuring a mannequin dressed as Elvis and vintage car memorabilia, completes the dining experience. Located at 1700 S. The king of tasty car-hop style burgers, fries and shakes was an easy choice for this list. With multiple locations and a food truck, you don’t have to drive out to Akron to get your hands on the greasy deliciousness. However, there is something special about the original that just can’t be matched. Located at 658 E Cuyahoga Falls Ave. in Akron, the shop has been serving Galley Boys (the shop’s signature burger) since 1934. And probably with continue to do so for a very long time.
