Because, somehow, it feels like summer out there.

There’s nothing better than discovering a new patio, especially one kinda hidden away from the world. Here are some of the best ones around Cleveland and where to find them.

Xinji Noodle Bar 4211 Lorain Ave., Cleveland While it may be hard to ever achieve owner Shuxin Liu’s recommended five-minute limit when it comes to consuming a bowl of ramen, a time derived from the lifecycle of a bouncy noodle, it’s damn worth trying. Bowls of chicken and pork-based broth contain fresh noodles, silky slabs of buttery pork belly, corn, scallions, mushrooms and, if you’re wise, a soft-cooked egg. If at first you don’t succeed in the five-minute drill, try and try again at this fantastic Ohio City noodle bar. Photo by Emanuel Wallace
Forest City Shuffleboard 4506 Lorain Ave., Cleveland Like many bars in the Ohio City area, this joint boasts a patio perfect for enjoying upcoming summer meals. But unlike most other bars in the city, you can play shuffleboard while enjoying your food and drinks. Photo via @forestcityshuffle/Instagram
Sunset Harbor Bar & Grille 625 Prospect St., Fairport Harbor Sunset Harbor Bar & Grille is, proudly, Lake County’s only dining experience on Lake Erie, and this photo proves that it’s earned its name. With crab cakes, mussels and Cajun shrimp on the menu, you may forget you’re lakeside and not seaside. Photo via @kkatesully/Instagram
Platform Beer Co. 4125 Lorain Ave., Cleveland Platform Beer Co. boasts a 100-plus seat tasting room for their 20-plus house beers. But this summer, you’ll want to enjoy those beverages out back on the brewery’s brick-enclosed patio instead. Photo via @platformbeerco/Instagram Credit: Photo via platformbeerco/Instagram
Jukebox 1404 W. 29th St., Cleveland Why jam out to Jukebox’s impressive rock repertoire inside, when you can now do so on their patio? Photo via @jukeboxcle/Instagram
The Lincoln Park Pub 2609 W. 14th St., Cleveland Not only do they have a jukebox and a charming outside seating area, but Lincoln Park Pub is also home to Taco Tuesday. Eating under-$5 tacos while basking in the midsummer Cleveland sun? Yes, please.
Luca Italian Cuisine 2100 Superior Viaduct, 216-862-2761 Tiramisu with a view. Enjoy stunning sights on this restaurant’s veranda, and do so while you snack on their Italian fare or page-long dessert menu. Photo via nadia.aleksa/Instagram
Toast CLE 1365 W. 65th St., Cleveland You can enjoy lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch at this cozy spot on the west side. Now that’s something to toast to. Photo via @groundswellco/Instagram
The Bourbon Street Barrel Room 2393 Professor Ave., Cleveland If you’re craving New Orleans cuisine that you can consume on a tucked away patio in Tremont, look no further than Bourbon Street Barrel Room. Photo via @4everkristina_/Instagram
Johnny’s Bar 3164 Fulton Rd, Cleveland While Johnny’s downtown location also offers a patio where you can dive into their long-standing Italian menu, Johnny’s on Fulton houses a truly enchanting outdoor seating area. Photo via @woozie13/Instagram
The Velvet Tango Room 2095 Columbus Rd., Cleveland Not only does this cocktail lounge have a great patio, but it also hosts a trio of live jazz musicians every week. Photo via @aliciammmb/Instagram
The Fairmount 2448 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Heights Located in the Cedar Hill neighborhood, the Fairmount takes pub food to the next level. With a warm and lively atmosphere and one of the best patios in town, you’re missing out if you haven’t been. Photo via The Fairmount Cleveland/Facebook
Porco Lounge & Tiki Room 2527 W. 25th St., Cleveland Sandwiched between Tremont and Ohio City, this is an exotic venue where Polynesian cocktails are served in a tiki bar setting. Thanks to their themed patio, you can drink them like you’re really on vacation: underneath straw umbrellas, surrounded by greenery. Photo via @porcolounge/Instagram
Guarino’s Restaurant 12309 Mayfield Rd., Cleveland Guarino’s, nestled in Little Italy, offers traditional Italian food out of a converted family home, resulting in a cozy setting and a patio surrounded by foliage. Photo via @guarinoscleveland/Instagram
All Saints Public House 1261 West 76th St., Cleveland Just because a space doesn’t work for one or two groups doesn’t mean another can’t come in and turn it around. This prominent Detroit Shoreway building that recently was home to Battery Park Pub, Graffiti and Reddstone is now All Saints Public House. Partners Chris Brauser and Stephen Stopko, along with chef Cody Heppler, put together a menu of approachable but well-built items and craft drinks, combined with a totally revamped patio that’ll leave any diner wanting to come back for more. Cleveland Chop 824 West St. Clair Ave., Cleveland If you couldn’t tell that Cleveland was a meat-and-potatoes town by looking at our collective waistline, you certainly could by looking at our restaurants. The Chop—and the Chophouse before it—benefits from its prime location in the heart of the Warehouse District. They also have one of the best patios in downtown, great for before a Tribe game this summer. Photo via Scene Archives
Mojo World Eats 2196 Lee Rd., Cleveland Heights After 40 years, Lopez in Cleveland Heights turned into Mojo World Eats. Like the original, Mojo has a lengthy menu loaded with globally diverse and appealing options. The current working catalogue approaches 40 different items, most of which take inspiration from Pacific Rim, Mediterranean and Latin American cuisines. Photo via Scene Archives
Georgetown and Vosh 18515 Detroit Ave., Lakewood Formerly Three Birds, Georgetown not only has a great menu but also boasts one of the most beautiful patios in Cleveland. The food is pretty great too – we highly recommend the sausage-stuffed banana peppers, any of the pizza appetizers and the charred beef tenderloin. Photo via @GeorgetownVoshLkwd/Instagram
Harlow’s 14319 Madison Ave., Lakewood “I wish I could give 6 stars. Every single pizza here is SO delicious! I love that it’s made fresh right in their exposed kitchen so you can watch the awesome process. You can tell the owners really care about the quality and service they provide. Also they have the friendliest staff! My favorite pizzas are the Marinara Pizza and Leonardo Pizza but you have to try everything at least once!” Angeleah P. on Yelp Photo by Peter Larson
