9 Places in Cleveland to Watch the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals

The Cleveland Cavaliers haven't always had the easiest time taking on the Golden State Warriors in the past four years, but here are some of the best places throughout downtown and greater Cleveland to catch the 2018 NBA Finals games. Because it's not over until it's over.

CHARACTERS SPORTS BAR & GRILL, 6007 BROOKPARK RD.
When: Doors open at 11:30 a.m. 
What: Characters will have domestic beer deals, a happy hour menu and Pork Schnitzel and clam chowder special on Friday.

Starting at 8 p.m., nearly all bottles and drafts at City Tap are $3. I mean, what could go wrong when rabid sports fans drink as much as they can for an hour before tipoff? That’s right. Nothing.  Why: Certified Angus Beef burgers and some interesting ones at that. Try the “Godfather,” a burger covered with pepperoni, provolone and Parmesan cheeses with a side of marinara sauce for your dipping pleasure. Wash that bad boy down with one of the 58 beers on tap. What: By definition, a “hooley” is an Irish boisterous party or a noisy, merry party. This bar offers traditional Irish food and other pub choices at reasonable prices. Nothing says “merry party” like cheap food and alcohol..Why: The Hooley House has three large projection HD screens, over 25 55” LED TVs and plenty of space to accommodate large parties.
