Photos: The Winery Dogs Brought Rock 'N Roll to the Agora Theater

The Winery Dogs played the Agora Theater last night, part of a tour that kicked off two weeks ago in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and today heads to Indiana.

The powerhouse band — comprised of Mike Portnoy (drums, backing vocals, Billy Sheehan (bass, backing vocals) and Richie Kotzen (guitars, keyboards, piano, lead vocals) — released its third album, III, earlier this year — its first on its own indie label. The trio is something a supergroup; Kotzen was a past member of Poison, Sheehan previously played with David Lee Roth and and more, and Portnoy was the original drummer for Flying Colors, Transatlantic, Dream Theater, Neal Morse Band, Sons of Apollo and Adrenaline Mob.

Photographer Joe Kleon was there for all the rock 'n roll action, including local opener Shawn Perry.
