Show up next Monday, Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for 70-cent burgers. Naturally, there’s a limit of two per person and added toppings are extra. You must also be present to order.
Bearden’s (19985 Lake Road) offers a ’50s-style dining experience, complete with hand-cut onion rings, milkshakes, peanut butter burgers and even a roving toy train.
When the restaurant opened in 1948, the burgers were only 15 cents. Now, they’re $3.50. Still, that’s a pretty good deal.
