It’s been a busy month and we’re only in the middle of March. Let’s get to it.
- Millie’s Cocktails opens today next door to Doink’s in Waterloo. Expect elevated comfort food with Hungarian inspiration alongside beer, wine and a dozen or so unique cocktail creations.
- Pastimes Cafe in Lakewood offers a new daytime dining destination with breakfast burritos, sammies, and lunch fare.
- EVOO from Brad Friedlander is inspired by the Greek restaurants he loves to visit in Miami. It’ll open its doors very soon at Legacy Village.
- What’s going to replace Ohio City Burrito in Ohio City when it moves its flagship location down the block? Rooster Kitchen Thai restaurant, which is growing from a food truck to a brick-and-mortar spot.
- You might have heard that Shooters has been reborn with major renovations from new owners. It’s now open ahead of what will be a beautiful spring on the riverfront (we assume).
- Spice Spring opened its doors in the old Chinatown neighborhood, offering Szechuan specialties and dim sum.
- RED Restaurant Group has purchased Heritage Steak & Whiskey from Doug Petkovic. After RED shuttered its steakhouse at Pinecrest, owners said they were on the hunt for a new east side location. Will the banner change at Heritage? RED promises updates on that front in the coming months.
- Bar, a new oyster and martini bar in Hingetown, is officially open.
- And finally, Cleveland’s BrewDog outpost appears to be on solid ground after it, along with other American locations, were acquired by Tilray Brands.
