Saucy Brew Works In a move designed to increase its presence on the east side of town, Saucy Brew Works will open a brewpub at Pinecrest, according to partner-brewer Eric Anderson. This new spot is modest compared to other existing and planned projects. At 2,000 square feet, the pub will accommodate about 75 guests. The goal is to open in early spring. Saucy Brew Works has permanently closed its Pinecrest location.

“We are incredibly thankful for the support we’ve received from the eastern suburbs,” Saucy Brew Works CEO Brent Zimmerman said in a statement. “It’s been a privilege to serve this community and to host so many memorable moments for our guests.”

The eastside outpost of the brewery chain opened in 2020. Its other locations, including its original spot in Hingetown that debuted in 2017, remain unaffected. Zimmerman said the decision allows the company to focus on its expanding footprint, including the new Urban Meyer’s Pint House project downtown.

According to Northeast Ohio Craft Beverage News, “the move is part of a broader regional repositioning strategy as it continues growing its hospitality portfolio across Northeast Ohio.”
