Multiple alarms brought dozens of firefighters to the site shortly after 5:30 p.m. The fire grew massive — and quite quickly, too.
Based on conversations with people standing by on Lorain Avenue, there were no injuries. The fire department has not yet addressed the situation publicly.

Noooooooooooooo!
Aw man! Too bad. That place was there in the fifties when i I went to west high school. We would jump in my buddy’s car and go over there for lunch everyday. Old steve couldn’t say “TOAST very well so we would order toust two hotdogs and a chocolate milk, just to tease him. He caught on to us and really started to mangle the word when he would call the order into the back. He always had the kid running around in there, It’s a wonder he ever got any work done.Every time we went back to Cleveland to visit family we would stop in and order something.Just for old times sake. We’ll miss the joint.
