Guy Fieri, fresh off attending the Super Bowl with his merry Guy Fieri-esque entourage, is in Cleveland this week.
The Food Network star is in town filming at some local restaurants for one of his shows, the timing of which also means Fieri is in town for NBA All Star weekend, which probably isn’t a coincidence.
A little birdie told Scene the mayor of Flavortown will be filming this week at Mabel’s BBQ on East 4th St., and there’s already been a sighting at Astoria, which casually announced yesterday that the restaurant would be closed today and tomorrow.
Neither Astoria nor Mabel’s really falls into a diner, drive-in or dive category, so the tapings are likely bound for another Fieri franchise.
