Revamped Sausalito on Ninth Opens Monday In Its New Home

After three decades at the Galleria at Erieview, Café Sausalito pulled up stakes, relocated and rebranded. The new restaurant, Sausalito on Ninth, reopens with a new concept on Monday in a street-level spot in the IMG building at the corner of East 9th and St. Clair.

Get a first look at the new lunch, dinner and drink menus below.

The spot promises a casual atmosphere with loft seating, a contemporary bar and floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the street.

“We’re ready to go and start this next, exciting phase,’’ said Sausalito owner Saravanan "Babu" Chandrababu. “It’s going to be a great spot for business lunches, Happy Hours, and after-work dinners.”

Chandrababu will also be opening a new private dining/event venue on the building's 15th floor. The "Penthouse on Ninth" will be able to accommodate up to 100 guests in a space with views of Lake Erie.
