, the chef-driven choose-your-own meatball and cocktail joint that opened in Rocky River in September
, is now offering lunch service.
Starting today, the restaurant now opens at 11 a.m. daily and offers a beverage happy hour from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the bar.
While there are plenty of appetizers, salads and "go-to" meals on the menu, the fun part is choosing your own meatball (about 10 options, including vegan and vegetarian), sauce (20 or so) and sides (which can easily be ordered "under the balls").
food editor Douglas Trattner said in his review
of the restaurant back in October: "There are a lot of silly ideas in food out there these days, but Polpetta has figured out a way to make meatballs creative, delicious and fun."
