  1. Pretty sure I’d put Edwin’s or L’albatross at a higher number than Happy Dog or Slymans – which gives you a reason why looking at AVERAGE SCORE might not be your best fine dining scale. Generally, I skip Yelp in favor of Urbanspoon, Trip Advisor, or even Fodors.

  2. Sorry, but based on the pictures, (hamburgers and sandwiches, this is RIDICULOUS), only two are real restaurants Lola and Edwin’s, and as far as I am concerned, and despite his owner’s fame, Lola doesn’t know how to cook fish (or put it otherwise, they know how to overcook fish… and overprice it) not talking about the fact that they put bacon with all their fish dishes!!! No doubt, Edwin’s is definitely the best in town 🙂

  3. I would put places like Chinato’s, Dante and Table 45 on this list, rather than a sandwich shack

  4. I am new to Cleveland so I’m not one to comment about the best restaurants in Cleveland (yet) but I really hope people start reviewing on Yelp more because it’s always been such a useful tool in my search for a good new place to try!!!!

  5. Some of the very best restaurants in Cleveland are not the high priced places but the smaller diners and restaurants. Bubba’s Q, Georges, Diana’s, Luchitas, Joes Deli, and so many more that have better food and better prices.

  6. I love Brandon and Edwins! Their outstanding food and service compliments his breakthrough vision, benevolence and humanity. They are 2nd to none in exhibiting the best of cleveland’ spirit.

  7. I’m laughing at the comments. Most are what you’d read on Yelp. Happy Dog is certainly deserving. It’s not fine dining, but most everything is made in house, and the dogs are made to spec. Only one that I’d question is Slyman’s. Quantity is NOT quality. I could go to Vienna and buy the CB direct.
