Barry Manilow’s first performance in Cleveland was in 1975. Half a century later, he bid us farewell with a dynamic, emotional, and stellar performance. It is hard to believe the king of jingles, singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, Grammy award winner and 15-time Grammy nominee is 81 years old. His voice retained the power and range he has always been known for and he has never lost his warm and sincere personality.

At a private ceremony before the show, Manilow persented a check for $10,000 to Westlake High School music teacher Hilary Patriok, the local winner of the “Manilow Music Teacher Award.” The 501(c)(3) Manilow Music Project has gifted over $10 million dollars in instruments, equipment, and scholarships to primarily high school music students throughout the United States, over the past 20 years, and recognized hundreds of teachers nationwide.

Here’s all the action we caught.
