Concert Photos: JoJo Brought Chart-Topping Pop Magic to the Agora

Not to be confused with JoJo Siwa or JoJo of Jodeci fame, Vermont-born Joanna Levesque is the third in a trifecta of JoJos making popular music.

The 34-year old singer-songwriter started her career as a child, recording her first album at 14 years old. Her debut single “Leave (Get Out)” shot up the charts to the number one spot, earning the moniker of the youngest solo artist to attain a number one song on the Billboard charts. By the time she finished high school, she had already sold close to 7 million albums. Pretty impressive for such a young person.

Since then, she’s built a multi-faceted career, even moonlighting as an actor in several movies and TV shows.

She brought her “Too Much To Say” tour to the Agora on Friday night, playing to a diverse crowd of fans at the sold-out gig.

Up-and-comer Emily Meli was the support act, providing a thrifty thirty-minute set of pop tunes to warm up the crowd.
