Cleveland punk quintet the Facials will introduce their new album, …Minutes to Live, at 8 p.m. on Saturday at RockStar, upstairs from Peabody’s.
The CD was recorded last summer and fall at Athens' Hideout recording with producer/engineer Eddie Ashworth (Pennywise, Sublime, Unwritten Law), who also produced the band’s 2005 CD Ingredients for a Revolution.
… Minutes to Live is currently available at the online punk-rock store interpunk.com. Tickets to the show are free from the band’s MySpace page.
These veterans — going on 10 years — are known for their hard-hitting, fist-pumping pop-punk inspired by the west-coast sound of bands like Bad Religion, NOFX and Pennywise. —Anastasia Pantsios
