[image-1]Since shock rocker Marilyn Manson was born in Canton, Northeast Ohio can claim him as a native son.

Back in the 2000s, the influential artist hooked up with Swedish bassist and producer Tim Sköld, who officially joined the band in 2002 after the departure of bassist Twiggy Ramirez.

Sköld also took on producing and editing duties. He even created artwork and programmed drums and beats, He played guitar, keyboards, accordion and synthesizer bass for the Manson album, The Golden Age of Grotesque.

Now, Sköld has embarked on a solo tour in support of his new album, The Undoing, a collection of industrial rock tunes featuring pulsating synths and sneering vocals. 

He performs at 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, at the Phantasy Concert Club. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 the day of the show.
