The local four-piece rock/alternative band Who Hit Me has played around town for a few years now, but it hasn’t released any new music recently.

This week, however, the group announced it’ll issue “Info Age,” its first new music since 2017. The rousing Clash-like song features call-and-response vocals and has an anthemic quality to it.

The single will be released on all streaming platforms on Friday, June 21. Prior to its release, the band opens for Local H on Sunday at the Grog Shop and performs on Thursday, June 20, at BuzzBin in Canton.

It then plays a free release show on Saturday, June 22, at the 5 O’Clock Lounge in Lakewood. Limited edition physical copies of the single will be available at the release show.

Later this year, the band plays to go into the studio to record a full-length follow up to its 2015 debut.
