All good things must come to an end. The Open Air Market in the Square, in the little park at West 25th and Lorain across from the West Side Market, has been going strong since late May, but the last regular edition of the weekly event takes place tomorrow.

Local alternative country/Americana band Lost State of Franklin, featuring the male-female vocals of J. Scott Franklin and Tyler Postma, will play from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by the Troupe Shabaana belly dancers from 2 to 3 p.m.

Powerful blues-based singer/songwriter Kristine Jackson, one of the area’s hottest younger performers, will close down the afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. The market also features a variety of vendors and information tables.

It’s free.

There’ll be a sort of “bonus” market on September 11 during the annual Sparx City Hop. Go to openairmarketsquare.com for information. —Anastasia Pantsios
