On Friday Night, “Happy Endings”, one of Cleveland’s most popular and ever-growing monthly dance parties, celebrated its 4-year anniversary at Globe Iron with a guest DJ set from UK R&B phenom Odeal.
“Happy Endings”, a labor of love of two of Cleveland’s most popular DJ’s, Nic Nacc and Eso, had simple beginnings. The early events were held at Cent’s Pizza to a more modest crowd size, but the same feel and message still carry on to this day as they have continued to grow: “A party where you can be you.” In an era where VIP sections have essentially killed club life and partygoers spend more time on their phones than on the dance floor, “Happy Endings” is the very antithesis of that. Attend one event and you’ll know the vibe is a nostalgic one: Come as you are, dance til you sweat, and above all, have fun. Each month the dance party makes good on that promise, featuring many of the city’s best DJ’s, playing eclectic sets that you won’t hear anywhere else in town.
The 4 year anniversary was their biggest event yet, with DJ sets from Nic Nacc, Eso, Navy Jayde, Corey Grand and a special guest that made the trek all the way from the London, R&B star Odeal, all of which kept the energy electric for a packed house at Globe Iron. Follow @happyendingsworld on IG for future events, and we’ll catch you on the dance floor.
