Times on Nine Inch Nails: The first and last time Trent Reznor will be called 'Mr.'

The Sunday New York Times this weekend profiled Nine Inch Nails mainman Trent Reznor, Cleveland's biggest, brightest son in recent rock memory. (Technically he's from Pennsylvania, but he moved to the fertile scene of Cleveland to make it, which he did). The story examines T-Rez's recent decision to give away his latest record, The Slip . “It’s all out there,” Reznor says of the digital-music sea change. “I don’t agree that it should be free, but it is free, and you can either accept it or you can put your head in the sand.” Read the whole piece at nytmes.com. Incidentally, NIN plays the Q Friday, August 22. Sadly, that's not free --- D.X. Ferris
