If you’re looking for fun for the whole family or a trip with some friends, there are plenty of water parks within a short drive of Cleveland to enjoy this summer. Cool off from that hot Northeast Ohio sun by enjoying water slides, splash parks and tons of other aquatic activities.
Clay’s Park

Located in between Massillon and Barberton, you’ll find the small town of North Lawrence, home to Clay’s Park, a lake that doubles as a water park. In the Columbus suburb of Powell is Zoombezi Bay, a water park run by the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. This may be the best water park in the state with the first waterslide in the country to incorporate light and audio effects and Baboon Lagoon, a multi-level play structure with a 1,000 gallon bucket dump.
