If you wonder why a Browns fan might want to find a new team to root for, look no further than the 24 hours that transpired late last week, from the moment Ray Farmer traded up to draft Johnny Football Manziel to when ESPN broke the news that Josh Gordon is looking at a one-year suspension for failing yet another drug test. It really was a kick in the balls to anything that previously considered itself a kick in the balls.

Anyway, now we're here: An unnamed Browns fan has put his fandom up for sale on eBay. Bidding is currently $23.50 with four bids already submitted. His reasoning:

Cleveland Ohio born putting my fandom up for sale.

Growing up the last 30 years I have seen my team move to Baltimore and come back only to produce embarrassment after embarrassment.

It started with the misuse of Tim Couch then onto the awful picks of C Brown and G Warren. I have seen a coach pick a starting qb with a coin flip and 3 qbs taken with #22. Quinn and Weeden were utter disappointments and when there's finally new hope that Manzeil may be able to take us to new heights (and by that I mean 8-8) I find out that our best wr was busted for failing a drug test....again! Combine this with the fact that management knew this and still have done nothing in the draft to address this huge need and I'm done.

Cleveland has been told we have incredible fans and, as a former season ticket holder I agree, we do. But we are also the worse fans because we are endlessly hopeful and supportive. The city is at a point where our Super Bowl is in May and our dream season is breaking 500. I hear time and time again that football is a business. And the Browns have been giving us a product for 15 years that would have lead any other business in any other industry to go bankrupt 13 years ago. Yet the Browns continue to make money hand over fist.

So what do you get for bidding? My fandom! I am a passionate and active fan. I will utilize the winning bid to buy new gear and I pledge this fandom for the next 10 years. I will also attend a minimum of one game a year of my new team for at least the next three years. I will keep you updated via email with my views on my new team and will provide you photo proof of my games attended.

If there are any questions just ask. It's been a long 15 years from apathetic or FBI investigated owners to qbs stuck under American flags and having our team MVP being a kicker. I look forward to rooting for my new team with the passion I have held for the Browns all my life.

PS - 30 teams available for me to root for. No Steelers and No Ravens. Hey maybe the winner will pick the Browns and I'll make a little money back for all the money I put into this subpar product!
