Celebrate Friday the 13th Tonight at These Eerie Northeast Ohio Attractions

Celebrate Friday the 13th Tonight at These Eerie Northeast Ohio Attractions (4)
Scene Archives
With Friday the 13th descending upon us for the second time this year, it's a perfect weekend for early Halloween celebrations. Luckily for us, two haunts in Northeast Ohio are offering up the best frights for the night.

The Haunted Barn
1053, Bellus Rd., Hinckley
Venture down to the Haunted Barn tonight whose theme centers around Hell. The haunt starts mildly with one room featuring a fortune teller with a not-so-great outlook on your future and another room infested with exorcised spirits. The Haunted Barn kicks it up a notch down in the basement where animal carcasses blanket the ceilings the maze ends covered in human skin-like walls and body parts. Of course, no haunted house is complete without creatures creeping around and kicking your adrenaline into high-gear with expertly rehearsed jump scares. The haunt opens at 9 p.m., paired with a $13 admission fee.

Factory of Terror
4125 Mahoning Rd NE, Canton
Open every Friday the 13th, The Factory of Terror offers four different haunts both tonight and tomorrow night beginning at 7 p.m. Friday's showcase is just like the attraction's Halloween festivities, with horrifying animatronics roaming around beneath ominous lighting. Saturday's set, however, is all about the surprise. Guests will walk around the house in complete darkness with only a glowstick to light their way. Actors are permitted to gently reach out and touch you, but the lack of lighting and macabre music will make it impossible for you to detect when the scare is about to hit. With a $25 admission fee, the first 200 visitors receive a white hockey mask and the first 500 will take home a free souvenir wristband.
