Lot's of people are flocking to Cleveland (and
downtown specifically) nowadays, and not just because of the inventory of affordable places to live, though that certainly helps (we'll get to that in a second).
Cleveland officially ranks
15th on Glassdoor's Best Cities for Jobs list. Not too bad for a city making the list for the first time ever.
While Cleveland clocked in the near the bottom of the list when it came to average salary, the overall placement in the middle of the list makes sense given the city's super affordable cost of living and housing. In other words, sure the salary in Boston or San Fran might be higher but so is your rent/mortgage.
