this is what we are teaching our children in school? can anyone see the hypocrisy and the foolishness of instructing children to mock and continually hang on to something…the man made a decision for him and his family….why not teach children about making decisions, doing what is RIGHT for them and not worrying about peer pressure and what others think. How disappointing for me, a former Cleveland resident, to view this. When will it all end?
I so agree, this is what we send our kids to school for!!!! This is one of the many reasons I do not send my kids to Cleveland Public School, what values are being taught with this poem? I watch the news, which I really hate to do but guess I need to stay aware of current affairs, but all they do is continuously express anger over Lebron’s decision. To the outside, looking in Cleveland is a angry city, with a bunch angry group of citizens. You want to be mad about something be mad at the economy, be mad at gas price, but do not continue to teach our kids how to hate on someone for living their life they way they choose. We all have to make choices and not everyone agrees with our choices, so get over it and teach our babies to get an education and got dawg it move out of the ghetto’s, move out of this city.
I can’t believe that a school allows our children to participate in something like this. This a another form of bullying with so much media coverage on this issue, it amaze me that we allow these teachers to disperse this kind of behavior to our children. Who every was responsible to have the kids do this is really for their own personally gain. Maybe media attention “Wow”. Well this man has given to Cleveland and he deserves to move on in his life without being prosecuted by some of the people of Cleveland.
It will all end when grown people start acting as such. Children do not go by what you say but what you show them. This is only the mirror that children are looking in. Blame all of us, not just the news, magazines etc. We are all the blame for this.

Sorry, but as an adult I can not take responsibliity for any of the things these kids and adults have put together on Queen James, since I am one of the only person that I know of who did’nt like or trust James from jump.Becareful of who you allow your children to worship and admire. As parents your kids should look up to you, and you have the responsiblility to put them on the right track for life’s ups and downs, just because a person plays good ball does’nt mean they are GOOD mentors for your child. Step Up your game parents.
I totally agree with you caller. What kind of message are we(parents and teachers) teaching our young children? That it’s okay to display this kind of ignorance, retaliation, mockery, hold grudges and the list goes on. Adults, whoever is responsible for this horrific dramatization of pure IGNORANCE should be ashame of themselves. SHAME SHAME SHAME. I am truly appalled of this trash. You know, this is why our children are so angry and violent, because adults are instilling this type of anger and hostility into our kids. Why not have turned this, “What Should I Do”, into a more positive message to deliver, not express negativity, but positivity. May God have mercy on those poor souls who put together such trash talk and literally used our innocent kids to deliver their ignorant message! God please bless our supposed to be educated adults and teachers at Wade Park Elementary School. Because if they knew better, they would have done better!!!!!!!!!
