A big “X” marked many a calendar today, as McDonald’s held a national hiring day in hopes of corralling 50,000 new workers. According to reports this morning, numerous local locations in Empire of the Golden Arches reported lines out the door.
Unfortunately, this afternoon a fight broke out at the McDonald’s at St. Clair Ave. and East 105th Street after applicants were turned away, according to Fox8. Three individuals were injured and taken to the hospital*. Police have arrested one individual and are looking for another.
With our ears ever-pressed to the streets, Scene has been able to drum up more details.

a drunk will mess up anything no matter what race or neighborhood he is from. i saw a state trooper stop a drunk on the freeway, he asked the drunk to get out the car, at the same time the trooper noticed a accident on the other side of the freeway, he told the drunk to stand their. when the trooper got back the drunk was gone. the drunk told his wife that if anyone comes looking for him to tell them he has been home all night long sober as a judge. the next day the trooper knocked on the door and ask the wife if her husband was home, she told him that he has been home allnight long sober as a judge. the trooper asked her if she could open the garage door. their was the troopers car with the lights still flashing. a drunk will mess anything up no matter where he is or color.
I know right? Why don’t they just go back to Africa. It’s not like they were forced to come to America on slave ships.

I am so tired of meeting sister after sister who has three kids, works one or two jobs and pays the bills, has the credit, cleans the house and here comes the “man” no job no credit, warrant for his lazy butt. If the majority feels that why then what are the odds of a BLACK person recieving a fair shake? We’ve been fighting for fair treatment in every way YEARS after slavery…. hell MLK was gunned down in the late 60’s and a lot of the people who were apart of that or LOVED that, it happened are still here as well as their kids and their running a lot of these businesses. I will never make an excuse for BS by no race or color. But unless you know what it’s like to be flat out dogged because of your color then your comment isn’t worth the keyboard it was typed on.
