Comic book lovers' favorite holiday returns this Saturday, as comic shops everywhere are giving away free books from publishers such as Marvel Comics and DC Comics for the annual Free Comic Book Day. Here are some of the Cleveland-area spots looking to help you celebrate the occasion.
North Coast Nostalgia

The doors open at 10:30 a.m. here with free comics for all. Expect more than 50 titles for free comic book day, as well as DC Comics Superhero Girls reprint. Matt N Tim of
The Not So Much But Us web show will be on hand to engage with the crowd and hand out prizes, including free stickers and candy. There's also going to be a special raffle, with the winner announce Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. on the

Comics Are Go!

Special guests such as Mark Sumerak, an award nominated writer whose work includes the
Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Ghostbusters, Harry Potter, Walking Dead and

At this place the pre-party starts Friday night at 10 p.m. for all ages, with a comic book giveaway at 2 a.m. On Saturday choose up to 10 free comics between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, the shop is also housing an art gallery, where local artists are honoring artist Jim Steranko.
