Free March 'Creative Mornings' Lecture at SPACES Will Center on Ink

Two months ago, Creative Mornings debuted in Cleveland. Originating in New York City in 2008, Creative Mornings has branched out into a global network of inspiring lectures by the local creative community. Each month, Creative Mornings CLE invites a local expert to speak on a global theme. The best part? It’s all free, and every Creative Morning includes free coffee and breakfast as well.

“Creative Mornings is a great way to get in touch with some incredible projects that are happening in Cleveland and around the world,” says SPACES Executive Director Christina Vassallo.

This month’s global theme is INK. The Cleveland chapter has invited Joseph Makkos, Founder and CEO of NOLA DNA, a business dedicated to the preservation and digital archiving of historic printed material. In a secondary role, he performs custom, multi-process printing for artistic, small-run editions of various publishing projects.

Learn more during Makkos’ presentation at SPACES this Friday, Mar. 20 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. The event is free, but space is limited. The two previous Creative Mornings have sold out well in advance of the event. To register, visit their website.

This month, breakfast is provided by Anna in the Raw and Phoenix Coffee.
