We’re big fans of Girl Talk, former Case student Gregg Gillis, and have enjoyed a frenetic, sweaty, dancy, awesome Girl Talk show or three in our lives, but we’ve yet to catch him outdoors during the summer, which from the looks of this short film by Bon Iver documentarian Dan Huiting of Girl Talk at the 80/35 Music Festival in Iowa, looks like a whole different party.

Yeah, no. I just dont think you’ve seen him this tour. I saw him indoors in the winter this year and thats exactly what it was like on a smaller scale. Ballons, confetti and toilet paper leaf blowers. Big screen behind him. And he ended the show with John Lennon but it was played over Under the Bridge.
