Gentleman- be warned- the next time you try to flirt with an attractive young lass, she may just call the cops on you.
At least that's what one Lakewood woman did recently after she found a note on her car from a man who lives upstairs in her apartment complex.
In his note, the author reportedly said that he'd been living in the apartment complex for eight months and had just noticed the woman. He also said that he thought the woman was "cute," and didn't want to wait another eight months to meet her, the Plain Dealer reports.
The PD also notes:
"The woman told police that she didn’t want them to contact the note’s author because she was afraid that he would become angry or violent, but she wanted the incident documented, the report said. The woman said she would call police if he tried to contact her again."
The comments rebounding off of the PD's page go something like this:

While the woman's call to police may have been a taaad bit of an overreaction, her response, nevertheless, is quite telling of the very real fears that local woman feel on a day to day basis as we walk to our cars, leave the office, and run errands. It's a fear which has only been heightened in recent months as troubling headlines about people like Ariel Casto, Michael Madison, and Elias Acevedo plague our media.
It's impossible to know whether this Flirtatious Note Joe could or would ever be a threat to this Lakewood woman, but she opted not to find out, and there's nothing wrong with that.
