Over the holiday weekend, Northeast Ohio might feel the pinch. Looks like someone’s re-up of weed got gobbled up by Johnny Law, a big dollar score for law enforcement and hit to July 4th weed consumption.
The find happened yesterday after the Ohio State Highway Patrol pulled over a Ford Fusion with Arizona plates in Medina County, according to a release beamed out by the agency this morning. The car was pulled over due to a lane violations on I-71. The drug-sniffing dog was brought out and discovered 20 pounds of weed.
Law enforcement estimates the drugs were worth somewhere north of $45,000. The driver, 38-year-old Rachel Cuevas of Arizona, and 26-year-old Carol Solomon of Cleveland are facing felony possession charges.
