Loud in Cleveland with By Light We Loom

Today, we're happy to share the new episode of Loud in Cleveland. In this podcast episode, hosts Drew Maziasz and Michael Cornacchione talk music with By Light We Loom.

From Mike and Drew:

These two began the band Bethesda a few years back and this past summer, after that project ended, they refocused their efforts in a duo they called By Light We Loom. It's a fantastic sound they've come up with, full of bright poppy hooks and beautifully polished melodies, and it's a very refreshing thing to hear in Cleveland right now.

Shanna and Eric started off with a story of a particularly hairy situation after a show in Toledo. We also talked about the genesis of their journey in music from what made them start in Bethesda all the way to what has changed now that the rest of the band is in a button. Eric gave us some insight into how the songwriting process is actually more challenging now, even though they're a duo, and what sort of challenges that brings to live performance. Also a first, being that Shanna and Eric are a happy husband and wife, we got to talk a little about what it's like making music with your spouse.
