Mayfield PD: “No sandwich for you!” Update: “Sandwiches for you!”

After an unceremonious dismissal, Cleveland food truck Dim and Den Sum will return to Mayfield Village’s Progressive Insurance complex.

Thursday afternoon, the truck was making its regular stop at the Progressive parking lot, where owner-cook Chris Hodgson says he serves 150 people every week. Midway through lunch, Mayfield police arrived, told the truck it was in violation of the village’s solicitation law, and said it had to leave. Now.

  1. first off, it’s not a residential area. second it’s not progressive property.
it’s a public street. shame on that rookie cop. glad it got fixed

  2. mayfield village police are ridiculous. they sit outside progressive (and on progressive streets and in their parking lots) just to see who violates the progressive stop signs and speed limits!! ridiculous given how much revenue and taxes progressive brings in!!
