North Union Market
Add a farmers market on the list of things to do on the new and improved Public Square. Today the North Union Farmers Market debuts from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
"We've been pretty excited about this," executive director, Donita Anderson
told cleveland.com. "Have you been downtown lately? The foot traffic is amazing. It's like a new city."
The North Union Farmers Market will offer crafts and fresh farm goods once a week through October 20. To kick off the market, Bloom Bakery, Rainbow Farms, Wojo's Produce, Don Anna Farm, Lucky Penny Creamery, Cleveland Kraut, E's Bees, Hershberger Farm, Quarry Hill Orchards, Woolf Farms, Spice Kitchen, Krav and several others will be selling prepared food and goods.
The set-up is the group's ninth market, with farmers markets in Shaker Heights, Crocker Park, Chagrin Falls, Cleveland Clinic Beachwood, Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Playhouse Square, University Hospitals and Legacy Village.
