Just in time for the holidays, you can own your own tourist attraction and iconic piece of Christmas movie history, right here in Cleveland: The ENTIRE campus of A Christmas Story House & Museum is for sale.

If you’re a holiday movie buff, you can probably quote A Christmas Story forward and backward (“You’ll shoot your eye out! You’ll shoot your eye out!”). Now, you can own the Parkers’ house, located at 3159 W. 11th St. in Cleveland, with its FRA-GEE-LEE (must be Italian) leg lamp and where Ralphie decoded the secret message from little orphan Annie, Randy couldn’t put his arms down and the Bumpuses’ dogs ate the entire Christmas turkey.

The three-story house made famous by the movie was built in 1895 and bought on eBay in December 2004 for $150,000. After renovations, it was opened to the public for tours in 2006, and you can now rent it overnight.

The purchase of the house also comes with A Christmas Story Museum at 1103 Rowley Ave., right across the street. The museum features houses props, costumes and other artifacts and displays from the movie. There is also a separate gift shop next door.

Also part of the campus is the infamous Bumpus House, home to Ralphie’s dad’s mortal enemy and his hellhounds. Now, it’s available for overnight rentals. There are also empty lots that come with the property, which can be used for future expansions.

As a tourist attraction, A Christmas Story House & Museum has welcomed over a million visitors since it opened in 2006, and it’s one of the top-ranked attractions in Cleveland on TripAdvisor. It’s also the only filming location that allows fans to connect with their favorite movie, according to the listing.

But no worries if you were planning on visiting the house and museum: It’s still open to the public.

The property’s asking price is not available, but you can reach out to Chad Whitmer with Hoff & Leigh for more information. Go ahead and buy it. WE TRIPLE DOG DARE YA!
