Medina’s been a flashpoint of sorts for open carry and CCW folks. There have been marches and demonstrations and this, the odd sight of a shirtless dude in flip flops packing a rifle on his back towing along his two daughters. This pic hit the front page of Reddit last week (there are some details in the comments, and it looks like there was a gun show this dapper dad might have patronized). Either way: Medina, America!

  1. The story behind this photo was in The Post this weekend, but I guess it’s easier to just copy/paste a picture that is over a week old from reddit.

  2. @mikeh – I didn’t know news blogs were allowed to copy and paste entire stories from the Post. Interesting. You learn something new every day I suppose.

  3. I posted a pic of this guy on my page denouncing his whole spectacle. I live in Medina. Not sure what was more repulsive, this guy or the super fat guy with an AK bouncing on his belly as he walked. The entire experience made me throw up a little in my mouth.

  4. Why is this even a big deal…? We have been brainwashed into thinking that we shouldn’t be armed. I know one thing, nobody on Medina is fu***g with that guy and his family.

  5. ^^^Becki Fox will be happy when the NSA is marching in the streets like the gestapo…what a sheeple 🙂

  6. You have the constitutional right to carry your gun. You have the right — some might say, the obligation — to be a little weird occasionally as an American. This would never be my special brand of weirdness, but the wonderful thing is, weirdness must be unique.

Becki Fox may be too delicate a flower to thrive in these United States. Possibly Canada might suit her better?
