In your Real Facts of Science update of the day, here’s the tale of an Akron man who fended off two robbers with logic (and a knife):
Two teens put a gun to an Akron man’s head and demanded money, then fled when their target — realizing their weapon only fired BBs — pulled out a knife.
The would-be victim, 36, told police the boys approached him about 5:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Lafollette Street and Burkhardt Avenue.
Police said one of the suspects put a gun to the man’s head and demanded money. Instead, the man pulled out a knife and told the teens to put their ”BB gun away before they get hurt.”
